Deletion is the feature
Choose how long the link lives: 1, 6, 24 or 48 hours. When it expires the download stops and the files are deleted from storage · not archived, not moved to a paid tier, deleted. Client galleries should live in a gallery product; a transfer should not outlive its purpose.

Before you send.
Sending sneak peeks to social?
Run them through the free metadata remover first so your gear list and GPS pins stay private, and the RAW to JPG converter if they are still RAW.
Is it really free? What is the catch?
It is free: 10 GB a transfer, no account, no card, no trial clock. The catch is a request, not a wall · we ask you to tell a friend, or take a look at Kepla, the Mac culling app this team is building. That is it.
Are my photos compressed or resized?
Never. Files are stored inside the ZIP byte for byte, exactly as you dropped them. A 45 MB JPEG arrives as a 45 MB JPEG. The ZIP itself skips compression too, which is why uploads run at your connection's full speed.
What happens when the link expires?
It dies and the files are deleted from storage. You choose the lifetime when you send: 1, 6, 24 or 48 hours, and 48 is the maximum. There is no grace period, recycle bin or paid extension, so make sure the recipient downloads inside the window · the expiry time is shown on the download page and in the emails.
Why do you need my email?
Two reasons: you get the link and a receipt for your own records, and your sender profile keeps a running count of your transfers, which keeps the tool from being abused anonymously. It lives in its own transfer records · it is not added to the Kepla Founding Access list, a newsletter, or anything else, and we never email you about other transfers.
Can I send a whole folder?
Yes. Drop a folder on the page or use Add a folder, and the folder structure arrives intact inside the ZIP · a wedding export with its subfolders lands exactly as you organized it. You can also email the link to up to 10 people at once.
Who can see my files?
Whoever has the link, for 48 hours. Files travel over HTTPS from your browser to encrypted storage, the bucket is private, and every download goes through a signed, expiring authorization. Nobody at Kepla opens your files.
Can I send RAW files or video?
Yes. It is tuned for JPEG delivery, but any file type works · RAW, video, PDFs, whole folder exports · as long as one file stays under 4 GB and the transfer under 10 GB.
Does the recipient need an account?
No. They open the link, see what you sent and who sent it, and click one download button for the whole ZIP. It works on any device with a browser.
How is this different from WeTransfer?
Free tiers elsewhere top out around 2 GB and push you toward a subscription. This is 10 GB, from a photography company, with deletion as a promise instead of a threat. If you outgrow it, the honest answer is a real gallery service · this is for the handoff, not the archive.
